Amenities In Tellico Village

The Tellico Village Property Owner’s Association (TVPOA) includes all eight neighborhoods of Tellico Village. The POA membership dues give residents access to all the amenities of Tellico Village.

Residents of the community enjoy the following as part of their POA Membership:

• Three Golf Courses
• Access to Tellico Yacht & Country Club
• Access to Chota Recreation Center
• Walking and hiking trails

Residents of this community have access to many activities and social gatherings.

Recreation Facilities at Tellico Village

There is no shortage of activities in Tellico Village. The recreational facilities are top-notch, and there is something for everyone.

Residents can play basketball, badminton, tennis, or swim at the Chota Recreation Center. Meeting rooms are also used as social spaces to play bridge or Mah Jongg.

The Kahite Activity Center has recreational facilities, including a fitness classroom, meeting space, tennis courts, and exercise equipment. The pool is particularly popular due to its stunning mountain views and shaded areas.

For residents with four-legged friends, there’s also Rover Run Dog Park. There are separate large and small dog areas, and multiple water faucets and bowls are available throughout the park.

The Family Park and Beach Pavilion are well-suited for family gatherings. There is a kid’s play area. There is also a netted-off swimming area and a Sandy Beach. A covered area also has grills, fans, and electricity that can be reserved for private events.

A Golfer’s Paradise

For those who may want to have some variety in their golf game, Tellico Village is home to 3 golf courses. As part of this community, residents can access The Links at Kahite, The Tanasi Golf Course, and the Toqua Golf Course.

The Links at Kahite

The Links at Kahite is Tellico’s newest golf course, opening in 2002. It has a unique design, offering a true links-style course with stunning views of the Great Smoky Mountains.

The Links at Kahite was nominated in 2003 as one of Golf Digest’s Best New Private Courses. This course has a driving range facility, practice bunkers, and a putting green.

The Kahite Clubhouse also offers a casual dining experience for those wanting a meal. With its outdoor patio and mountain views, the Kabite Clubhouse is a great place to enjoy a drink or meal before or after golf.

Tanasi Golf Course

The Tanasi Golf Course was the second course to open in Tellico Village. Unlike the other courses in Tellico, it has a much more open design and much bigger greens.

This championship course has seven sets of tees. With a range of challenging and unique holes, the Tanasi Course is not to be missed. It also has an 18-hole putting green and a clubhouse. The Tanasi Clubhouse offers lake and golf course views, making it the perfect location to enjoy a meal after a round of golf.

Toqua Golf Course

Opened in 1987, the Toqua Golf Course was the first course in Tellico Village. In 2008, it underwent an extensive renovation.

The Toqua Golf Course offers a scenic location to play. With several holes played alongside Tellico Lake and gorgeous treelined holes, this course is surrounded by natural beauty.

It is a championship course that is playable for all levels of golfers.  Golf Digest nominated Toqua as the best new course in 1987. It has a driving range, a short game practice area, and a putting green. There is also a clubhouse with a restaurant that was added in 2019.

Socialize at the Yacht & Country Club

The Tellico Village Yacht & Country Club is on a peninsula with stunning views of Tellico Lake.  The club has a lounge and dining area. It also has the largest marina on Tellico Lake.

At the Blue Heron, members can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner while taking in the beautiful views of the lake and the mountains. Throughout the year, the club holds a variety of social events, including wine tastings and holiday celebrations.

While joining the club comes at an additional price, members gain access to over 800 yacht clubs throughout the US.
